Southbridge Care Homes is seeking compassionate and skilled Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team. As a PSW, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our residents by providing personalized care and support that addresses their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Your Responsibilities:- Deliver direct personal care to residents, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families, including those requiring palliative care
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by assisting your colleagues and fostering teamwork
- Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker (PSW) program certificate or diploma, meeting the standards set by relevant regulatory bodies
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others
- Experience with care planning systems and documentation practices
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
