Travel LPN Position for Kamloops Facility

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a reputable Long-Term Care/Assisted Living facility in Kamloops, British Columbia.

**Job Summary:**

This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents, working collaboratively with the care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing resident needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and administering medications as required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote resident independence and well-being
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Directly supervise care staff to ensure seamless delivery of resident care

**Requirements:**

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in dementia care an asset

**Compensation and Benefits:**

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of $45.00 per hour, plus additional pay for overtime, on-call shifts, and weekend work. A comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, is also available.

**Work Schedule:**

A flexible 8-hour shift schedule, including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as on-call and weekend coverage as needed.

**Location:**

This role is based at our long-term care facility in Kamloops, BC, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
