Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers. You will work closely with our team of developers, business analysts, QA, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new functionalities and build upon the application architecture.
  • Review and provide feedback on colleagues' code.
  • Participate in agile meetings and contribute to the development of the team's work.
  • Participate in the analysis of functionalities and provide input on business needs and technological solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous deployment of applications using DevOps methodology.
  • Participate in functional testing and documentation of existing and future applications.
  • Ensure quality control by establishing and conducting test scenarios to validate that the systems and programs developed meet the specifications.
  • Participate in maintenance activities and collaborate with different teams to solve customer issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information technology, or a college diploma combined with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an application developer.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Back-End languages like Java, PHP, or .Net.
  • Very good aptitude to write quality code with development best practices.
  • Knowledge of React, Python, and Kotlin (asset).
  • Good knowledge of Object Oriented Development and SOLID principles.
  • Good knowledge of unit tests and Test Driven Development.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security challenges with web-based applications.
  • Experience in solving complex software engineering problems.
  • Experience with functional and organic analyses.
  • Excellent knowledge of French & English (spoken and written).
  • Strong sense of organization and prioritization.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information.
  • Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline.
  • Web-based experience or academic profile.
  • A spirit of collaboration.
  • Have a curiosity and a thirst for learning.
  • Experience in the finance industry.
  • Have a good sense of humor.
