The Ecole de Technologie Supérieure de Montreal - IMT Douai, France is seeking a highly skilled researcher to collaborate on a thesis project focused on the development and optimization of an additive manufacturing process inspired by the low-pressure MIM process.

This project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of polymer technology and its applications in additive manufacturing. The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Nicole Demarquette and Professor Vincent Demers to study and optimize the additive manufacturing process of highly filled polymers.

The research will involve the development of a novel process that combines the benefits of MIM with the flexibility of additive manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and optimizing the process to achieve high-quality metal parts.

This project is a great opportunity for a motivated and talented researcher to contribute to the development of new technologies and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative research environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments to optimize the additive manufacturing process

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field
  • Strong background in additive manufacturing and polymer technology
  • Excellent experimental design and data analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment

Funding

This project is co-financed by ETS Montreal and IMT Nord Europe. The successful candidate will receive a research grant to support their work.
