About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Kosher Foods Specialist to join our team at ABRISHAM HALAL MEAT & GROCERY. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to kosher dietary laws and regulations.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for our customers and staff.
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of kosher dietary laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and suppliers.
