We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Environmental Assessment Project Manager to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-profile environmental assessment and permitting projects for our clients in the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results that meet client expectations.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver environmental assessments, permitting, and management plans for large-scale capital projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business growth and win new projects.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and developing effective proposals to secure new business.
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing project management team, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to ensure team success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in environmental assessment and permitting.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in impact assessment and permitting, specifically in the mining sector in BC.
- Proven track record of delivering high-profile projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
