About the Role:

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Air Quality Principal to join our Pacific Northwest Air Quality team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical and business leadership, contributing to innovative solutions in various sectors, and managing consulting assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and business leadership in air quality consulting
  • Contribute to innovative solutions in various sectors
  • Manage consulting assignments, including project management and client relations
  • Critically review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations
  • Compile and draft regulatory applicability determinations and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Oversee the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application materials
  • Testify at administrative and/or court hearings
  • Participate in local, national, and international scientific and trade group meetings
  • Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in environmental consulting, focused on air quality
  • History of successful business growth within the field
  • Experience managing consulting assignments, including project management and client relations
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and communicate complex information to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in all facets of project management, including regulatory agency relations
