About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have experience managing engineering initiatives and teams, with a proven track record of shipping console game titles. They will be responsible for partnering with the leadership team to understand and balance priorities and project requirements, collaborating with Directors and Leads to develop and communicate the vision and roadmap for specific areas, and gathering requirements to break down the product vision and high-level goals into tasks and actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project schedules and plans, monitor capacity and velocity, and track progress.
- Provide visibility and create clarity by providing updates to stakeholders and external partners, and keeping the team informed of the current goals and latest changes.
- Facilitate creative problem-solving to assist the team in overcoming obstacles, eliminating blockers, and devising effective and efficient development strategies.
- Oversee the development of features from concept to completion and ensure the successful completion of tasks and goals.
- Identify areas of improvement and work with the team to strategize alternate solutions.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across teams and disciplines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Open to feedback and thrives in a collaborative environment.
The hiring range for this position is $83,000 - $125,000 CAD annually, and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. This position is also eligible for benefits, including a discretionary performance bonus program, health benefits, and generous time-off.
