Position Overview

As a Head Cook at Deerhurst Resort, you will play a pivotal role in our culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Remote location
  • Hospitality sector including hotels, motels, and resorts
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety
  • Manage inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
  • Oversee kitchen staff and assist in their development
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets
  • Supervise overall kitchen operations
