This role is responsible for ensuring that every picking ticket matches the order number on the box, maintaining an organized shipping environment, and keeping shipments on schedule. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be efficient in UPS, FedEx, Purolator, and Loomis software, and have a strong understanding of commercial invoices and freight orders. Key responsibilities include verifying picking tickets, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and processing shipments in a timely manner.

METRICS

* Package Handling: Employee must maintain standard processing procedures that assure accuracy, while adjusting the volume of work.
* Processing counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standard. Employee must continue to maintain accuracy throughout the month for the bonus program.
* Employee will be evaluated on the accuracy of the orders processed and his/her performance level as measured against volume demand.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
* Frequent walking
* Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
* Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

Working Hours

This is an hourly position. The schedule for this position is 9:00AM - 6:00PM, Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for additional time as needed.

Work Environment

The environment is a shipping area. Dress attire is casual but professional in a shipping setting. All employees are required to wear 'Radwear' (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received.
