About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Keep records of food quantities used and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads. You will work as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen.

Requirements
