About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Pratima Sehgal. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance to clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Light Exercise: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical health and mobility.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
