Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fixed Term Analyst to join our team at CP. As a key member of our publications team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and punctuality of revenue data.
Key Responsibilities
- Input client information into CP systems, including rates, to ensure seamless data entry and processing.
- Accurately document the details of Client Commercial Agreements to maintain a high level of data integrity.
- Adhere to all relevant internal company policies and external regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Provide leadership with updates and tracking information related to assignments to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Keep leadership informed about the progress and tracking of data entry to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure open and direct communication with team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure publications are in line with commercial agreements, system demands, and internal guidelines to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
- Responsible for the accuracy and punctuality of revenue data to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, ideally in a field related to the position, such as business administration or finance.
- At least two years of related professional experience, or a mix of education and experience that is comparable, in a role that involves data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Detail-oriented and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and analysis.
- Ability to solve problems and think critically to resolve complex issues and challenges.
- Skilled in using Office software, particularly Excel, and SAP to perform data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Three years of experience in railroad transportation is desired, but not required.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
