Serco is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Management Director to lead the coordinated management of multiple related projects and ongoing operations support.

The successful candidate will work closely with the local management team to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, ensuring the ultimate success of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the implementation of contracted services and operations for the client.
  • Authority in line with financial approval framework, including budgeting, KPI reporting, and input into annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Direct subordinate managers and employees in the performance of section tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure all deliverables and other reports are completed accurately and on time to Serco corporate and client.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or 15 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated work experience in a Facilities Management environment.
  • Program Management Professional certification (desired).
  • MS Office (Office 365) suite of programs (desired).
  • Operations experience on a military airport or base (desired).

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Solid technical, business, and project management knowledge.
  • Excellent collaborative leadership and organizational skills.
