Job Summary:

The role of Maintenance Supervisor is to coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair work in buildings or large complexes. This involves managing a team of General maintenance technicians, inspecting sites, executing work as necessary, maintaining equipment, and assigning workers to various projects.

This is more of an office manager-type role than a hands-on role. The ideal candidate should have a trades background and be able to manage a team of general maintenance operatives.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will organize the daily running of the engineering function, set daily priorities, plan PM activities, resolve equipment issues, and work with third-party contractors/suppliers.

  • Supervise the Maintenance Team, aligning them with the company's vision, mission, strategies, and objectives.">
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to establish performance standards across all facilities.">
  • Assist in preparing a 5-year rolling capital replacement plan.">
  • Manage contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and negotiating contracts to optimize delivery and cost savings.">
  • Promote a high-performance culture that fosters innovation and continuous improvement.">
  • Collaborate with the Health & Safety Manager to identify risks, conduct risk assessments, and implement safety measures for staff and contractors.">
