The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This figure takes into account the level of responsibility, required skills, and qualifications needed for the role.

About the Role

  • This Co-op Project Coordinator position may report to a Senior Project Coordinator or Project Manager and will be responsible for helping the project team in coordinating, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions.
  • The ideal candidate will assist with developing schedules, monitor actual construction versus schedule, and identify critical paths and manpower loading.
  • They will also be responsible for submitting requisitions for materials and equipment, controlling drawings and revisions, and maintaining QA/QC documentation.
  • Furthermore, the successful candidate will conduct client satisfaction surveys prior to project closeout and provide written documentation for all clarifications and instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly labour, equipment, material, and subtrade costs.
  • Monitor cost accruals and review with the Project Manager regularly.
  • Review and code timesheets to ensure proper cost allocation.
  • Develop and update schedules with the assistance of the Project Manager.
  • Identify critical paths and keep abreast of manpower loading and materials deliveries.
