Job Summary

At SMITH-PEAT ROOFING AND SHEET METAL LTD., we are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team. As a Roofing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofers in various aspects of roofing construction, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and assisting in framing houses and building roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Work Environment

As a Roofing Assistant, you will be working outdoors in various locations, including construction sites. You will be required to work at heights and handle heavy loads. Our company prioritizes the health and safety of our employees, and you will be provided with the necessary training and equipment to perform your duties safely.
