Job Title: Ornamental Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Ornamental Metal Worker to join our team at Summa Architectural & Structural Metal Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and shaping metal products to meet customer specifications. This includes operating various metalworking machines, such as drills, saws, and welding equipment, as well as performing tasks such as cutting, bending, and forming metal stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metalworking machines to fabricate and shape metal products
  • Perform tasks such as cutting, bending, and forming metal stock
  • Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and specifications
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Document work completed
  • Lay out, set up, and operate metalworking machines
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
  • Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in metal fabrication
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
