Job Title: Commerce Developer/Lead

Company: ALLTECH CONSULTING SVC INC

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Commerce Developer/Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing solutions in our e-commerce ecosystem, which includes extended sites models involving B2B and B2C business models.

Key Skills:

  1. Hands-on experience in WCS 7.x, WCS 6.x versions, and BOD framework
  2. Strong design and implementation experience in WebSphere Commerce v7.x
  3. Strong understanding of WebSphere commerce application architecture and ability to provide right design decisions
  4. Experience exposing REST APIs for Commerce capabilities
  5. Experience in integrating, designing, and developing custom solutions within WebSphere Commerce
  6. Hands-on experience with utilizing various subsystems of WebSphere Commerce Server (Catalog, Order, Member, Payment)
  7. Experience in working on different business models of commerce (B2B, B2C, Extended sites)
  8. Strong Java development experience
  9. Database programming skill
  10. End-to-end experience in software development life-cycle and familiar with agile methodologies
  11. Executed at least 2 WCS end-to-end implementations
  12. Technical leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision
  13. Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques
  14. Experience with organization structures, LDAP integrations, user and account management (B2B and B2C)
  15. Creating, extending CSR (Customer Service Representative) flows allowing them to create organizations, registrations, transactions on behalf of customers using out-of-the-box implementations and customizations
  16. Experience with contract models
  17. Experience working with front-end JavaScript development technologies
  18. Experience with SOAP and REST integration

Leadership & Communication:

  1. Ability to work well with different staff levels within and out of core competency
  2. Ability to translate high technical solutions/problems to audiences at varying technical levels
  3. Strong ability to prepare and present technical documentation
  4. Communicates in a professional manner when interacting across staff levels and internal/external customers
  5. Understands the importance of communicating risk assessment
