About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commerce Developer/Lead to join our team at ALLTECH CONSULTING SVC INC. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing solutions in our e-commerce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement solutions for extended sites models involving B2B and B2C business models.
  2. Work with our agile team to groom the backlog and create technical tasks for stories.
  3. Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate them appropriately.
  4. Interact with the product owner and scrum master to understand and propose out-of-box capabilities and possible extensions to the framework.

Requirements:

  1. 10 years of experience with 7 to 8 years of expertise in WebSphere Commerce.
  2. Hands-on experience in WCS 7.x, WCS 6.x versions, and BOD framework.
  3. Strong design and implementation experience in WebSphere Commerce v7.x.
  4. Strong understanding of WebSphere commerce application architecture and ability to provide right design decisions.
  5. Experience exposing REST APIs for Commerce capabilities.
  6. Experience integrating, designing, and developing custom solutions within WebSphere Commerce.
  7. Hands-on experience with utilizing various sub-systems of WebSphere Commerce Server (Catalog, Order, Member, Payment).
  8. Experience working on different business models of commerce (B2B, B2C, Extended sites).
  9. Strong Java development experience.
  10. Database programming skill.
  11. End-to-end experience in software development life-cycle and familiar with agile methodologies.
  12. Executed at least 2 WCS end-to-end implementations.
  13. Technical leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision.
  14. Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques.
  15. Experience with organization structures, LDAP integrations, user and account management (B2B and B2C).
  16. Creating, extending CSR (Customer Service Representative) flows allowing them to create organizations, registrations, transactions on behalf of customers using out-of-the-box implementations and customizations.
  17. Experience with contract models.
  18. Experience working with front-end JavaScript development technologies.
  19. Experience with SOAP and REST integration.
