About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at DIALOG-DESING. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate documentation from schematic design to construction documents
  • Design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and heating and cooling systems
  • Work with architects, interior designers, and structural engineers to create integrated design solutions
  • Manage high-quality contract documents for HVAC, plumbing, and drainage systems
  • Perform engineering studies, including analysis, condition assessments, and renewal planning
  • Carry out day-to-day project management and maintain internal design standards
  • Deliver technically sound and thorough mechanical solutions in an integrated environment

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Registered professional with building code stamping authority (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and drainage systems for commercial and institutional buildings
  • LEED accreditation (considered an asset)
  • Experience with BIM software (REVIT) and sustainable design practices
