Assistant Store Manager

About the Role:
As an Assistant Store Manager - Day Operations at EightSix Network, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop strategies and objectives to drive sales and profitability, while providing leadership to our sales floor team to execute these plans successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that customers are acknowledged, their needs are met, and complaints are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability, including analyzing trends, solving problems, and developing plans to maximize contribution to store success.
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales floor team by providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals.
- Ensure that the sales floor is properly stocked, and that customers have a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Work with the Store Manager and other Assistant Store Managers to anticipate and solve problems, and plan for upcoming events and seasonal changes.
- Take an active role in the execution of safety awareness programs and ensure that all daily inspections are completed.
- Verify deposits, markdowns, deliveries, time slips, refunds, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Follow standard operating procedures to open and close the store when scheduled, and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of customers and team members.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the Store Manager and other Assistant Store Managers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Computer experience is a must, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and attention to detail and confidentiality.
