We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Metro. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Customer service driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
