Cashier - Part Time Job Description

At Metro, we're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our Front-End team on a part-time basis. As a Cashier, you'll play a vital role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer
  • Operate a cash register, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
Requirements:
  • Customer service driven with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Retail experience considered an asset, but not required
  • High attention to detail and basic level of numeracy skills
  • Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
