Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling customer inquiries.
- Inventory Management: Keep records of food quantities used and restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train on the job.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate required.
- Language: Bilingual (English and French) required.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time Position: 20 to 40 hours per week.
