We are seeking a skilled Sandwich Artist to join our team at Subway. As a Sandwich Artist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling customer inquiries.
- Inventory Management: Keep records of food quantities used and restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train on the job.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate required.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with electronic cash registers.
- Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and bilingual skills (English and another language).
- Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time Position: 20-40 hours per week.
