About the Role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Road Technician (Heavy Duty) to support our operations. As a proud supporter of hiring Military Veterans, we promote a diverse, inspired, supported, empowered workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs at customer locations, ensuring equipment is in the safest, most effective condition to avoid downtime.
- Work with a variety of equipment, including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty line equipment such as large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment.
- Participate in our on-call rotation and work in the shop when there are no field calls.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
- 1 to 3 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands
