Job Title: Medical Orderly

Résidence des Peupliers (2012) inc. is seeking a Medical Orderly to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to provide patient care and support in our rural area setting. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with serving meal trays and feeding patients
  • Maintain patients' rooms, including making beds and ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher, as needed
  • Respond to call signals to determine patients' needs and provide assistance
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, as trained
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a rural area and willingness to relocate
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
  • Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a hospital or home for the aged setting, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and support.
