Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team at Allamani Technical Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment
  • Repair cable signals and diagnose equipment faults
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 25 kg
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including rural areas, and will be required to travel to customer locations. The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
