Retail Store Manager

At Reads Heating Edmonton, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, resolving any issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and that stockroom is well-organized.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Training and Development: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, as well as awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Our store operates in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a focus on delivering excellent customer service. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be required to work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
