About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Synergy Health Management Ltd. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results. Monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment to ensure accurate assessments.
  • Rehabilitation Programs: Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety.
  • Documentation: Document patient rehabilitation progress to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process files and paperwork, schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Medical clinic or private practice environment.
  • Area of Specialization: Physiotherapy.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance and immunization records.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and ability to work as a team player.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
