Job Title: Operations Manager International Logistics

At Randstad Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our International Logistics Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our logistics operations, ensuring seamless execution of domestic and international shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for the operations team for all modes of transport (ground, courier, ocean, air) for domestic and international shipments
  • Lead and train the operations team, handling operations duties when required
  • Maintain client database and serve as primary contact for problem-solving
  • Oversee prices, quotes, RFP/RFQs, and price project requests, finding cost-effective solutions
  • Verify and troubleshoot issues in shipping or customs documentation
  • Update, send, approve, and release invoices to customers
  • Customs duties
  • Support the operations team and work closely with the Vice-President and Director of Sales and Operations
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in freight forwarding
  • Participative leadership skills and effective team player
  • Ability to identify and analyze problems, take initiative, and decisive actions when needed
  • Detail-oriented and possess excellent organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bilingualism is a must
  • Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or related program is an asset
