Landscape Construction Skilled Trades - Stone Mason/Bricklayer

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Skilled Trades - Stone Mason/Bricklayer to join our team at Oakridge Landscape Contractors. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the daily management of landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks using hand tools and power tools.
  • Prepare and lay bricks and concrete blocks, stone, and structural tiles for residential and commercial construction.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry shells of industrial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Provide veneer-facing to walls or other surfaces using bricks and stone.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units for patios, garden walls, and decorative installations.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's G-class license.
  • A clean driver abstract.
  • At least 5 years of field experience.
  • The ability to read landscape blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of elevations (grading) and the use of a laser level and transit.
  • General knowledge of hard landscape materials.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
  • A day shift position.
