The Role
We're looking for a skilled Global Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Public Relations & Communications team, you'll play a critical role in developing and executing our global social media strategy.

Your primary responsibility will be to support our storytelling efforts, manage our social media channels, and grow our online audience. You'll develop content calendars, brief creative requests to our design team, edit vertical videos, contribute to monthly reporting, and help achieve our social reach and video view targets.

This is a full-time permanent position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Toronto, Ontario, or London, UK.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the global social media strategy
* Manage day-to-day social media content rollout across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms
* Create engaging social content, including captions, posts, and stories
* Brief creative requests to the design team
* Edit vertical videos and other visual content
* Contribute to monthly reporting and analytics efforts
* Help achieve social reach and video view targets

Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, storytelling, and vertical video
* Strong storytelling and copywriting skills
* Proven track record of creating high-performing content across different platforms
* Foundational knowledge of social media channels and their role in marketing and customer service
* Strong project management skills with experience in briefing designers and other creatives
* Understanding of and belief in Intrepid's core values and style of travel
* Experience with video editing tools like CapCut, Premiere Rush, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut, along with knowledge of social media scheduling and listening tools like Hootsuite
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and competing deadlines
