Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Enterprise Core Services team. As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing risk and helping clients achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed reviews of compilation and review engagement files, including notes to financial statements.
  • Review personal and corporate income tax returns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client management, serving as a primary relationship manager for certain clients.
  • Schedule and manage a team of accountants to provide services to a diverse range of clients.
  • Coach, guide, and mentor staff and senior team members to ensure their growth and development.
Requirements
  • Canadian CPA designation or equivalent.
  • 5-8+ years of professional accounting firm experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide supervision and guidance in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation.
  • History of delivering quality service and value to clients.
  • Experience working with QBO or Xero considered an asset.
  • Previous use of Taxprep, CaseView, and CaseWare programs preferred.
