Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Viso Engineering Inc. in Canada.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility, design operation, and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks. This will involve commissioning systems and components, ensuring compliance to drawings, specifications, and building codes, and making custom designs for clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail. They will also be able to coordinate access and use of computer networks, prepare detailed specifications, and conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in design, installation, maintenance, and inspection of equipment or facilities. They will also have experience in project management, project planning, research and development, and instrumentation.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in electrical design and engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Experience in design, installation, maintenance, and inspection of equipment or facilities
  • Experience in project management, project planning, research and development, and instrumentation
