Job Title: Electrical Engineer

The Rapid Response Project is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing detailed engineering design and providing technical expertise to the electrical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical engineering team, ensuring compliance with Canadian and International electrical design codes and standards.
  2. Develop and implement electrical design solutions to solve complex problems and improve overall efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address electrical design issues and opportunities.
  4. Plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical design projects, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  5. Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical design codes, standards, and best practices.
  6. Provide input on long-range planning and cost estimates for electrical design projects.
  7. Recommend new installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardize electrical design processes.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Minimum 10 years of electrical design and engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
  3. Professional Engineer – Alberta.
  4. Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of flexibility.
  5. Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and projects as required.
  6. Strong communication skills, with values that align with a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and high ethical standards.
