About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Service Worker to join our team at Terrace and District Community Services Society. As a Community Service Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Assess clients' needs and develop individualized plans to address their goals and objectives.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community, including life skills workshops, counseling sessions, and substance abuse treatment programs.
  • Client Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, including crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
  • Program Evaluation: Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
