Windows System Administrator

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to join their IT department. As a trusted advisor and industry leader in the payment solutions industry, our client values a friendly environment that fosters career and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Windows server platforms and Active Directory.
- Provide Help Desk support and build physical and virtual servers according to specifications.
- Install, update, and upgrade Windows Desktops, Office suite, and Antivirus programs.
- Research and test solutions to new requirements and support users in the operation and configuration of Windows OS and applications.
Requirements:
- Under general supervision, determine own priorities and work well across teams.
- Can work on complex problems requiring conceptualizing and reasoning.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to support out-of-regular hours (weekend work or extended days may be required, but with prior agreement).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Windows Systems Engineer Required Proficiencies: Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, Windows Infrastructure and Domain Administration, Web Server, and system architecture.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3 years of Windows technical experience or a minimum of 5 years of Senior Windows technical experience.
Location: Etobicoke, Hybrid work environment.
