Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team at Fire-Tech Sprinklers Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler equipment
  • Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Service and repair sprinkler systems, including testing for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment
  • Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings, and flush systems
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems
  • Select type and size of pipe required
  • Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sprinkler system installation and maintenance
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work at heights, in wet/damp environments, and in noisy conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
