We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner to join our team at Skjodt-Barrett Foods. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the procurement and delivery of raw materials and packaging materials to meet production schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all material requirements, including sales orders and changing customer needs.
- Support the execution of the S&OP demand plan and production schedule through accurate and efficient inbound materials planning.
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, ordering and maintaining materials in adequate amounts for timely delivery.
- Communicate inventory delays to Production Planning and work in consultation to expedite or de-expedit orders.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and understand forecast drivers.
- Functional supply chain experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), purchasing, and logistics.
- Highly proficient with MS Office and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance competing demands.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
