Medical Specialist Opportunity in the Northwest Territories

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team in the Government of Northwest Territories. As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing medical care and treatment to patients in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Qualifications: Earned doctorate degree in medicine and relevant certifications.
- Experience: Experience in a hospital setting is an asset.
- Work Setting: This is a staff position in a hospital, and we are willing to relocate the right candidate. Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
- Tasks: Prescribe medication and treatment, act as consultants to other physicians, and perform other medical duties as required.
- Supervision: You will be responsible for supervising 1 to 2 people.
- Certifications and Licenses: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination.
- Specialization: Internal medicine.
- Security and Safety: A criminal record check will be required.
- Screening Questions: You will be asked about your ability to work in Canada, your willingness to relocate, and your possession of the required certifications.
