Senior Engineering Manager, XVA and Market Data Technology

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our XVA platform development team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of our XVA platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy the XVA platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets business and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement technical strategies to improve the platform's performance, security, and scalability.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and prioritize development efforts.
- Ensure the team follows best practices and adheres to Scotiabank's engineering standards.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java, Spring, and SQL.
- 5+ years of experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
- Expert knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure and GCP.
- Strong understanding of data models, analytics, and system security concepts.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with senior stakeholders.
