Job Summary:
Summit Micro School seeks a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Educational Assistant to provide individualized support to students in our inclusive learning environment. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teachers to reinforce learning concepts, promote social development, and foster a positive school experience for all students.

About the Role:
This permanent position offers 37.5 hours of work per week, providing an excellent work-life balance. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality education and care to students with diverse needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist students individually or in small groups with assignments and reinforce learning and retention concepts under the supervision of a classroom teacher.
  • Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Support students with integration into the classroom and school setting, promoting inclusivity and socialization.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing environment that encourages growth and development.
  • Assess social developments, helping students build strong relationships with peers and staff.


Requirements and Qualifications:
