Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Healthcare Financing Solutions to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Business & Private Management sector, you will play a leading role in supporting commercial clients in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise in complex commercial credit and business products and services.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support clients' business objectives, integrating wealth management and commercial aspects into case analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies and evolve financial programs, supporting the Associate Vice President of Pharmacies and Healthcare Professionals.
  • Support account managers in setting up new financing cases and follow-up and renewal of existing cases.
  • Provide expertise in financing structure, financial analysis, and case evaluation.
  • Identify financial risks for the Bank and make recommendations to reduce or eliminate them.
  • Act as a credit resource within the team and support the AVP in developing team members' skills in this area.
  • Participate in case preparation, including analysis and establishment of business financing structures, considering the wealth management aspect for healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with account managers in preliminary meetings and presenting financing outlines to clients.
  • Participate in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders, both in creating and evolving specialized financing frameworks and for current cases.
  • Actively participate in all stages of follow-up and renewal of existing credits.
  • Use credit risk and profitability assessment tools, ensuring compliance with financing and risk management policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree related to the field and 7 years of relevant experience OR completed master's degree related to the field and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in complex commercial credit and knowledge of business products and services.
  • Experience in private management credit is an asset.
  • Knowledge of capital market borrowing instruments is an asset.
  • Experience in customer service, negotiation, and business development.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills and team player.
