Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Professional Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the University of Toronto.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality therapy services to patients, conduct program evaluations, and consult with other healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans for each patient
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients
  • Record accurate and detailed observations, progress notes, and treatment plans
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of ethics and practice
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a mental health therapist, preferably in a university setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
