We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Lead to join our team at Responsive Group Inc.
About the RoleThe Quality Improvement Lead will be responsible for leading our internal Quality Improvement Program and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement with a focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Quality Improvement Program: Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided by our organization.
- Lead Quality Team Meetings: Facilitate regular meetings with the Quality Team to discuss quality improvement initiatives and progress.
- Develop Quality Improvement Plans: Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop and submit annual quality improvement plans and progress reports.
- Train Staff: Provide training to new staff on the Resident Quality Inspection process and Inspection Guides interview questions and surveys.
- Monitor Quality Indicators: Utilize the Health Quality Ontario website to monitor quality indicators and advance quality improvement activities.
- Communicate with Residents and Family Council: Communicate data analysis, trends, and quality improvement activities to Residents' and Family Council.
- Ensure Accreditation Standards: Work with the Accreditation Coordinator to ensure all quality and safety standards for CARF accreditation are being addressed.
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Healthcare: Possess comprehensive knowledge of healthcare practices, trends, and issues in long-term care.
- Proven Management Experience: Have proven management experience in long-term care.
- Excellent Knowledge of Quality/Risk Management: Possess excellent knowledge of quality/risk management philosophies and programs.
- Master Trained in Resident Quality Inspection: Be master trained in the Resident Quality Inspection process.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
