Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Five Guys Burgers and Fries. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all employees are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards of quality and customer service that our customers expect.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our business operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with the information they need to make informed decisions.
As a Restaurant Shift Manager at Five Guys Burgers and Fries, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a physically demanding role. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
