Job Summary

Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is seeking a highly skilled Public Information Communications Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Communications unit, you will develop and implement comprehensive public information and communications programs that meet the unique needs of diverse communities in the City of Ottawa.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both orally and in writing. You will work closely with colleagues and external clients to develop and maintain productive working relationships, and be responsible for designing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote OPL programs and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 4-year university degree in mass communications or journalism
