At Miller Paving South Western Ontario, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage construction teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement construction plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including project documentation, safety reports, and quality control records.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project success.
- Construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on road construction, fine grading, culvert installation, or related activities.
- Experience with GPS survey and grade control systems is an asset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage construction teams.
- Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
